PORTUGAL

5 adventures 'North Americans' set off to find where the sun had been hiding all winter long. We were feeling a bit 'good weather' deprived and needed a break from speaking German (haha). So we decided upon the Sunshine, Beaches, Fortresses, Tiny Cobble Stone Streets, Tiled Buildings, and Boat Trips to the Grottos that Portugal had to offer.

With our mode of trasportation, we set off to Portugal!

Lisbon
2 days in Lisbon, Portugal exploring the castle, churches, wandering through the small streets, trying to not die from walking the various hills that Lisbon had to offer, and testing out my Spanish skills (wait... they don't speak Spanish there, I was a bit out of luck but I did my best to learn Portuguese while I was there.)

Sintra
Us 5 'North Americans' took a day trip to Sintra, to wander more small, tiled streets, see the castles, and enjoy one of the smaller towns of Portugal.

Yes, that is a castle, the one with the two smoke stacks.
