Spring is in the air!! (Hip hip horay, I love the warmer weather)

Spring means...
1. Time to bring out the RV (band new addition to our family) and all the camping equipment.
2. Time to wear sandles (my feet can breath again!), shorts (my legs are way to white), and sunblock (carefull Molly, don't get burnt... Oops!)
3. Time to enjoy the spring sun!

With the RV (my parents named it the Puppy, such an unfortunante name) all packed and ready to go, we... Tara (my other sister) my parents and a friend Marle (former exchange student from Germany who lived with us 3 years ago and was visiting Colorado) left for a weekend trip to Moab, Utah.

My dad and I decided to brave it and run the Canyonlands Half Marathon (13.1 miles) along the Colorado River in Moab (most beautiful run in the world), and my mom ran the 5 miler. Tara and Marle were are support crew (thanks).

The final stretch...

Road Trippin' with...

My Parents!?!?!
3,000 miles, 4 states, 3 people and WAY to many hours in the car.

My parents decided it was time for us 3 (my mom, dad and me) to take a road trip to California (oh no), driving on THE LONIEST ROAD IN THE USA, hanging out with the Relatives, driving over the Golden Gate Bridge, walking in the Pacific Ocean, and driving down High Way 101.

California here we come... (Theresa our favorite song)

Road Trip Adventures...

No cars in sight (I ran down the middle of the road, not something you can do everyday.)

It was SOOO lonely.

I'm not sure what the point was with this tree, but is was like a Mardi Gras Tree, but instead of fine lingerie it was filled with shoes?? I just don't understand who would have a random pair of shoes to just toss up in a tree while IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. My wonderful Parents!!!

Home Coming

New Castle, Colorado

8 months abroad, called for a visit home to enjoy the good food, good company, good weather, and the good times.

Good Food: Pesto came in plentiful amount (I couldn't get enough, I was eating it by the spoon full), along with my mom's good home cooking (she is the BEST cook in the whole world) and many other food that I couldn't wait to eat, eat and eat (corn chips, peanut butter, salad with my favorite dressing) YUMMY!!

Good Company: Friendly faces, and a familiar place. Time with friends and family has been filled to the max.

Good Weather: I think I'm enjoying the Colorado sun shine (a long and cloudy winter was a bit hard) and the warm weather a bit too much!!
